Fuji Marathon is one of the most popular and scenic of the resort marathons,
Fuji World Heritage Site and the charms of Lake Kawaguchi and Lake Nishiko with their autumn foliage can be enjoyed in this full marathon.
One of the most famous features of this marathon is the heart-breaking slope on the way from the shore of Lake Kawaguchi to Lake Nishiko. The hill has a height difference of about 80 meters and climbs for about 1.5 kilometers.
In addition to the full marathon, a charity fun run will be held along an 11-kilometer course around Lake Kawaguchi.
